CORONER PROBING FATAL ACCIDENTS [ with relatives at No. 58 South Vine street, who was struck by an automo- bile driven by Mrs. Rhea Westfort of this city late yesterday afternoon and died on the way to the hospital. On a trial charge of reckless driving Mrs. Westfort was held until Septem- ber 19 by the police court this morning pending the coroner's verdict. Thecoroner also continued his vestigation of the case of George Ryan of Portland whose body was recovered from Hanover lake early Thursday. One of his companions on a trip to Hanover park Wednesday night, Oscar Dahlberg, is held at the local lockup and the coroner is holding the other two, Willlam MacGetrick and William Kane in New Haven. The men claim that Ryan rolled off an embankment, into the water and was drowned. An autopsy showed he had a fractured skull. The body was taken to Portland this morning for services at . church with burial in East Hampton.
