Geneva, Aug. 12.—Creation of a permanent comrission on- immigra- tion which will assist the international labor bureau in the study of questions relative to the movement of peoples between various countries is proposed in the report of the interhational commission on immigration, which closed its session here yesterday. The report will be .considered at the in- ternational .lJabor conference in 1922. Saturday Los Angeles, Aug. 12.—Arraignment of Madelynne Obenchain and Arthur C. Burch is the next event scheduled in the investigation of the slaying of J. Belton Kennedy, broker, for whose mnurder the two were indicted last night. Meantime a wide search continues for the missing shotgun with which the broker was killed. A reward of $200 has been offered by a local news- paper. Louis Wohinz has brought suit for $1,000 against the New Haven rail- road through his attorney, David L. Nair, claiming negligence on the part of the company in protecting the Chestnut street crossing. The suit is the result of an accident on July 8th at night when the local man’s car was struck by a !reigsl car backing over the crossing. The gate-tender was off duty at the time.
