TO HAVE NOVELTY SALE DAY WEEKLY Grocers and Butchers Will Sell Same Article At Same Time At Cost or Less A novelty sale day once a week, in which the same article will ba sold in all steres at cost or less, for that day, will be launched by the Grocers’ and Butchers’ association of New Britain beginning next week. This was decided upon at a meeting of the - rganization. Just what the article will be next week or when the first sale day will be held, has not been announced yet, but will be known not later than Tuesday. The object of this movement is to convince the people of New Britain that the association -was not formed, as some seem to think, for the pur- pose of ‘raising prices. On a speci- fied day each:week, vvery member of the association will ‘place :the same article on sale, at an agreed price. The price will be advertised in the newspapers the preceeding day.
