Gity’s Best, Goes to Choate A high school diploma, a scholar- ship at a preparatory school which will be equivalent to a post-graduate course in High school and a birthday anniversary coming in the same week as the close of a brilliant High school athletic carcer and the beginning of what promises to be a more brilliant career in a larger field of sports, marks an epoch in the life of Robert Peplau, who was graduated from the High school this week. Peplau, who was 18 years of age Wednesday, the same day as he graduated from High school, has been granted a full schol- arship at Choate to prepare him for a future college term and will report to the training camp about to be ew Hampshire to join the football team in Scptember. This young man has a record in sports equalled by few in this city. According to a joint statement issued by Postmaster W. F. Robert Peplau, Said to Be One of Mrs. Lauren M. Bancroft met with rious fall last Friday afternoon en visiting in East Hartford. Her right arm was fractured in three places and dislocated at the elbow. At first it was thought her hip was fractured, but later photographs did not show any break, only severe bruises.
