Ind., May 24.—Com- missioners to the 1 A general as- sembly of the Presbyterian church in the Unifed States of America contin- ued their considerations today of the mass of reports submitted by the va- rious boards and agencie with the expectation that at the close of the day the most important would be dis- posed of. Members of the e itive commis- sion expressed sfaction today over the pla made for liquidating the churches’ debt to the interchurch world movement and to the Presby terian new era movement. The for- mer debt which amounts to § ,000 will be paid from funds derived from the sale of certificates of indebted- ness bearing € per cent. interest and which it is expected will be purchased { 1argely by church bodrds and agen- cies. The Presbyterian new era debt will be met by inclusion in the next annual budget of $150,000 from which funds will be derived to apply to the debt. In succeeding vears a sum ‘equal to one per cent. of the total budget esti- mate will be added to the budget for use in liquidating the debt.
