DOUGLAS FATRBANKS AT PALACE SUNDAY In keeping with the letter of the | sagacious critics that the supreme test of a successful photoplay should be characterized in the first instance by a | mood story replete with action, Doug- las Fairbanks in ““The Mark of Zorro," a United Artists production that is to be shown at the Palace theater, begin- ning Sunday has certainly, amongst other things, fulfilled that requirement. adapted from Johnston McCulley’s ‘‘“The Curse of Capistrano’ that was featured serially in the *‘All Story Weekly'’ magazine, can be safe-; Iy said to surpass all of “*Doug’s’’ pre- vious screen productions and to estab- lish a new record in expansive film creation.
