A distinction has been drawn between the citizens of allied countries and former enemy nations in these regulations. In the past Americans or other al- lied visitors remaining in France for two weeks have been compelled to take out identification cards at the prefecture of police. Under the new plan such card will be required only if the visitor intends to stay two months. Gunsaulus, noted educator and writer and since 1892 ‘mour Institute of Technology here, ‘died suddeniy at his home early to- day, following a severe heart attack. Physicians were hastily summoned but he died within two hours. Dr. Gunsaulus was born on January 11, 1856, at Chesterville, O.
