Frederick Jackson, director of the bureau of sanitary engineering for the State Department of Health will sub- mit a report on the sewage experi- mental station at Berlin, to the board of public works at its session this eve- ning. Since the plant has been operat- ing but a short time and the date com- piled by Mr. Jackson covers a period of less than one year, he feels that final He points out that a great deal of work must yet be done before a method of handling the sewage question can be recom- mended. Each process must be tested out under varying eperating and weather conditions to determinc the factors necessary for satisfactory re- sults. After these results have bhecen obtained preliminary cost estimates may be prepared.
