Columbus, O., Nov. 3.—Ohio, the home of the democratic and repub- lican candidates for president yester- day cast its vote decisively in favor of Senator Warren G. Harding, the republican candidate. His election came on his 55th birthday. On returns from 4,128 out of the 7,145 precincts in the state early to- day, Senator Harding was leading his opponent by 196,070. If this ratio | continues, Harding would carry his | home state by approximately 339,000, the greatest plurality ever given by the buckeye state for any candidate for office. The vote from the 4,128 precincts was: Hardinz, 631,109; Cox, 435,039. Harry L. Davis, publican, con- tinued to gain on late rcturns over A. V. Donahey, democrat, in the race fo. the governorship. Va., Nov. 3.—Form- erly classed as a doubtful state, West Virginia this morning continued to 4 maintain a wide margin in favor of Harding for president, and Morgan, | republican, for governor. The election of candidates to congress was in doubt, however, although the repub- licans were leading in all six districts. Returns from 768 precincts out of 1,868 in the state gave: Harding 118,722; Cox 86,406. If this ratio is maintained it would indicate that Harding carred the state ‘by approximately 78,000, By the sam& method, indications point to Morgan carryng the state fo governor by 61,000, although he had opposition not only from the democrats but from a non-partisan candidate as well. ol | to come, Our Entire Stock of Fine UPHOLSTERED LIVING ROOM FURNITURE IS RADICALLY REDUCED This is Your Big Opportunity ° Wholesale costs have been entirely disregarded in launching this unparalleled sale but we are prompted to make this a special event in keeping with the gen- eral desire to lessen prices. i You will be unable to buy furniture at prices as low as these for a long time It is to your advantage to buy now.
