O, | P. Possibilities for Governor and Their Action Toward Suffrage. (Svectal to The Herald) Mrs. George Green of Kensington, chairman of the local woman suf- frage organization, was asked this morning If she had received from state headquarters, a blacklist of re. publicans seeking office against whom the women will direct their efforts. Mrs. Green admitted that she had re- celved such a list and did not hesi- tate to state that she thought the matter should have publicity. The blacklist was issued from Hartford. It tells the women of the state that there are certain men seeking the nomination as governor on the republican ticket.: Of these there are at least five or six who are absolutely undesirable to the women in charge of suffrage in the state. He is Clifford B. Wilson of Bridgeport, now mayor of that city and lieutenant-governor of the state.
