He was fined $10 and costs by Judge Kirkham. The ice man has a customer named Mrs. Young on Sexton street and he told the court he always trusted her. Yesterday he sent a boy in to get five cents she owed him. He claimed the woman swore at him and that he swore back at her. He was arrested both times. An automobile caused all the trouble, for the driver drove up in front of Dumbrosky and parked the car near his horse. This angered him and his temper increased. Some small boys testified to his actions, his speech, and his insulting way. Mrs. Young testified to his swearing at her and using names not fit to be spoken. Motorcycle Patrolman Strolls offered testimony as to the arrest. The accused was taken in at 11:45 in the morning upon complaint and in the afternoon the officers again found him at the same nuisance mak- ing. When the officer told him to go, Dumbrosky is reported as having told the policeman, “I don't re I've got lots of money and want to get pinched.” The good-natured officer accommodated him and he was booked for the second time in two hours at the Commercial street lodg- ing house When Prosecutor Klett asked the accused what he had to drink he told him “Root beer.” Judgment Suspended.
