Yesterday morning he was reported as having 3700 when arrested but he put 3500 of it In‘the bank after leaving ‘court and had something over $100 when arrested last night. Argues—Gets Arrested. Joseph Seltis had judgment sus- pended on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license. He was arrested by Patrolman O'Meara on Main street last night. He was arguing over the right of way with an Arch street druggist and when asked for his license could not pro- duce it. He told the court he was right In his position in traffic and the other man was in the wrong He said he forgot his license! which was in his other clothes. Forgot His Liccnse. Edward Beckman operated a motor vehicle without his registration card last night and was arrvested by Motor- cycle Policeman Strolls. The young man wis driving fast and was fol- lowed by the officer. He turned in at St. Mary's field and when he stop- ped he could only show his driver's license. He asked to be allowed to get his registration card while on his way to the police station and the policeman granted the request. Judge Alling remarked that criminally such things are not important but in civil cases they are. He said he knew how easy it is for one to forget to change their licenses from one suit to another. He sus- pended judgment. Must Support Wife. William Tuscoski failed to support his wife and children and appeared in court as a resuit His little boy is at the Gilbert Home where the state charges six dolar a week for maintainance. Another boy is at home with his mother. Officer Connolly testified that the ac- cused has not contributed one cent toward his wife's or children's sup- port. Prosecutor Klett asked him how much he made and the accused told him $27. He was told he would have to pay the six dollars each week for the little boy's keep and he said it was too much. him he would pay it or go to jail and pay it then too.
