Erwin has been named chair- man of a committee of the Church of St. John the Evangelist, to ar- range for a big lawn festival to be held on the church properties Tues- day, Wednesday and Thursday even- ings of next week., the proceeds of which will be used for church pur- poses. Plans for the affair are near- ing completion and indications are that the festival will be both.-a social and financial success. The committee is planning to ac- commodate 5,000 persons each even- ing and ample space has been provid- ed for the parking of automobiles. An elaborate electrical display has beem arranged for. Drum corps will pa- rade and orchestras will play each evening. A large platform has been erected far fancy drill and dancing. The men had some previous trouble in a poolroom and restaurant and were put out of- the place. Dab- bakian was badiy used up ahout the head. A large knife which Harry claimed Dabbakian had threatened to use on him was found under a pool table later by Officer Wagner. A pool cue also figured in the fracas.
