As women enter more activelv into social and civic life, they delegate to others the tasks which do not require their personal attention. 8 The recognition of woman's equality with man is rapidly being L%t.ibh;hud National >uHra°, is coming. Equal rights with men in all lines of activity are coming. Under these new conditions women are rapidly being ferced to discriminate more keenly between the essential and the non-essential, between the relatively unimpors ant and the important thing. They are learning to drop the burden of small things in favor of the greater oppor- wunity and responsibility of large things. Many of them already perceive, for inmstance, that per- sonal home washing or even the supervision of home washing is something that can be casily and advantage- ously shifted. Without question women in constantly increasing num- bers will give up home wash day no matter how well thev think they have it arranged. For they will bring them- selves to the realization thar there is an easier way—a more convenient wav—a better way. That better way is to call a good laundry into their service. Our rate for family washings is low. All fat pieces are nicely ironed, the balance returned ready to iron. If desired, arrangements can-be made to have all articles ironed, at a small extra charge. to the Send i+ Union oundy " Laundry Co. 266 Arch Street
