A movement has been inaugurated at the Church of Our Lady of Mercy to establish in Plainville a branch of Daughters of Isabella the women of the local Catholic church. A meecting of the women of the parish more than 18 years old will be held in the church next Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock for furthe discussion of the matter. The state regent of the order, Mrs. McNamara of Bridgeport, and other state and district officers will appear at the meeting and will explain to the women the aim and purposes of the foundation of such an organization. This is the first local movement towards ing a branch of any great organization. The National | Daughters of Isabella has been es- tablished in about 35 states.
