The Alpha Alpha sority will hold a dance at the Shuttle Meadow club on the 22nd with the Alpha string orchestra The next night, the 23rd, will have their Christmas dance at the Y. W. C. A. gym. ARMY IN NEED O;‘ 3,400 MEN FOR CANAL ZONE WORK Sergeant Clifford J. Beaudoin, in charge of the local recruiting office, has received word that 3,400 recruits are wanted at once for service in the Panama canal zone. The infantry, cavalry, coast artillery, engineer corps, signal corps, medical, ordnance and quartermaster departments are open. Kecruits are sent to New Orleans for transportation.
