DIES OF AUTO INJURIES Joseph Kaminski, Aged 8 Years, of 4 Union Strect Succumbs at New Britain Gene Hospital. Joseph Kaminski, aged 8 years, of 4 Union street, died at the New Britain General hospital last evening of injuries sustained earlier in the evening when he was struck by an automobile driven by Harry Hall, op- shington street on West street at 6:30 o’clock. Imme- after the accident, Kamins was rushed to the hospital in John E Curtin’s car, where he lived about an hour. During this time he was un- conscious and was having convul- sions, and Dr. Hart who attended him found injuries about the body and there were indications of a fractured skull. Hall was driving the car In a west- erly direction, and with him at the time was Mrs. Ida Connell of 48 Lin- coln street, under whose license Hall was operating the machine. He was the right side of the street and traveling at a low rate of speed. Ac- cording to witnesses, Kaminski and a | chum named Stanley Damkowski of 24 Clark street started across the street. A Plainville trolley car was coming along in an easterly direction at the same time, and this is be- lieved to have shiclded the view of the boys from Hall. When the ma- chine was about 30 feet away, the boys suddenly appeared in front of the machine. Hall used every effort to escape hitting them, applying his | brakes almost instantaneously.
