He is naw undergoing treatment at the New Britain hospital. Johnson, in company with his brother and a friend went out on the river early in the eve- ning and about 9 o'clock the storm broke. His brother was at the oars and a start was made for a landing before the storm got too severe. Suddenly there was a sharp flash of lightning and Johnson, who was sit- ting a short distance away from his companions, fell over. Assistance was at once given the injured man, who had an ugly cut over his right temple and a jagged cut back of his right ear. His chest and limbs and neck were badly burned, and he suffered from electrical shock. He is being at- tended at the hospital by Dr. Carl J.
