W. C. A. The United Charities drive will wind up tonight at 6:30 o’clock with a supper at the Elks club. A busy time was spent ves- terday by the drive workers, and to- day another hustle is going on. It will require the maximum of effort to bring the drive up to the quota. Twenty thousand dollars has to be raised since the last reports ‘were made. Many have not given what they can afford, and now is the tinre for them to double their subscriptions. The Saturday night dance at the Y. W. C. A. was a great success, and much credit is due Mrs. George T. Kimball, Mrs. Howard 8. Parsons and Sturman Dyson who had it in charge. They cleared $100 on the dance. At the churches Sunday the loose plate collections were turned over to the campaign and good collections were taken up at the theaters Saturday night. Campaign Manager . W. Christ and E. W. Pelton are getting in close touch today with the team captains to spur them on to the great- est efforts os as to get the fullest re- ports in tonight.
