In the police court this morning Ross and Corbett were sent to the reform- atory and McKenna was committed to the Meriden school for boys. The trio were arrested in connection with the robbery of Peter Stankewicz's East Main street store. Jewelry valued at $175 was taken from the store, consisting of 20 watches, 17 women’s watches, 25 rings, six laval- lieres, 11 lockets, three bracelets, 17 necklaces, seven bar pins, three re- volvers, and four sets of cuff links. The store is at 75 Elm street, and entrance was gained through a cel- lar window in the rear. McKenna ad- mitted cutting *= wire protection over the window and leading the way through the cellar Into the store. A lock on the show case was broken and the jewelry taken out of the case. In several in- stances, he said, customers have charged him three times the value of the watches taken: Most of the watches taken by the voung burglars were watches left for repairs.
