WAR WORK CAMPAIGN. Comsmittec Will Meet Tonight to Make Preliminary Plans. The publicity committee for the nited War Work campaign will meet tonight at the headquarters in the \mv Britain National Bank Building :46 o’clock. Chairman George P Hs.lt of the general committee and Campaign Director H. L. Platt will meet with the committee and outline their plans for the publicity work. Representatives from Plainville and Berlin will also be present, it is hoped. Samples of the posters, auto stickers and other advertising material were seceived today and it is expected that the full allotment will be here in a taw days. Chairman H. V. Camp o{ the com- mittee is circulating a subscription paper for the expenses of the cam- ign. Already 40 signatures have oeen received, and it is expected that the number will reach 100. A list of tha supporters of the campaign will be published, when it is complete. The respons: to the appeal for assistance along this line has .been very gratify- ing.
