Fifteen weeks are allowed for each course of 12 lessons, ancd the course must bhe finished in the ap- pointed time. On account of the fuel shorts the pool will be closed Sat- urday mornings during November and December, and at all times during January, February and March, 1919. Miss ily R. Andrews has been se- cured to act as instructress. Private lesson in life saving will be given by the intructor by appointment. The enrolment for the several classes which are to be started has been very pleasing to the directors, and it is expected that many more will en- roll before the closing of classes. VENBERG A SERG! NT. Conrad Venberg of Dix street, who ! enlisted in Company E a year ago this summer and who was made a corpor- al shortly after going overseas, has been promoted to the rank of ser- geant.
