No less authority than to Potato Magazine declares that the pens tried at the dzlington, Va., farm of the United | States Department of Agricutlure | produced results so small as to be almost negligible. The same author- ity cites cxperiments by the Can- adian Government, with a planting of 42 pounds of seed and a yield of 81 pounds four ounces of market- able potatoes.
