A. are very much in demand and those wishing to secure them should make application as carly as possible. the RED CROSS PAPE Pamphlet Tells of Wor War Nurses. of American The New Britaln _ chapter of the American Red Crod socicty hes re- ceived a limited numer of ebpies of the pamphlet entitled, AT Honor to the American War Nurse,” which has recently been published by the depart- ment of nursing in Washington. It gives a short sketch, illustrated by pictures, of the various kinds of service into which the Red Cross nurse goes, both in the army, the navy, and under the Red Cross itself. The local chapter has been asked by | the Atlantic division to distribute these pamphlets to people who may be interested in knowing more of the nurse and her work. When the sup- ply which is now on hand is ex- hausted, the chapter will be able to secure more from the supply depart- | ment. All those interested in this matter may obtain a copy by calling at Red Cross headquarters on Court street. SMITH DAY One Arrested For Celebrating U. S.
