Board of Public Works Agrees Honor Old Agreement. At a spéclal meeting of the board of public works at 5 o'clock yester- day afternoon it was decided to grade ‘Warren street, near Stanley street, at a cost not to exceed $309. W. L. . Hatch called the attention of the board to a promise made four years n.gy to grade this street at once, but | for various reasons the city is four years behind in keeping its pledge. Permission was given the Landers, Frary & Clark Mfg. Co. to install a gasoline tank in front of their co- operative store on East Main street. It was also voted to give a hearing on the request of the health depart- ment to install a sewer in Bassett street from Roberts street south at a cost of $14,000. A hearing will like- wise be given on a petition for a sewer in Broad street. It was. voted to install a cinder crosswalk across Ellls street at Cherry street.
