Marsh, president of the Connecticut Bee-keep- | ers’ Association; Elijah Rogers, pres- ident of the New England Fruit Grow- ers’ Association; G. W. Staples, presi- dent of the Connecticut Pomological Society; Clifford 1. Stoddard, a mem- ber of the committee of food supply of | the State Council of Defence, and oth- | er men prominent in the agricultural work of New England. In addition to the many discus- sions of timely topics, demonstrations will be held for the pqultry people on | culling the non-layers from the poul- | try flock, and killing, dressing, draw- ing and canning. The dairy program will include _demonstrations on farm butter mak- | ing an a judging demonstration and comiest. Inspector A.'W. Yates and H. W. Coley will give demonstrations on bee work at the college apiary for the benefit of those interested in bee- keeping. Demonstrations on spraying other phases of horticultural will be held for the fruit men. »n addition to the technical ques- tions discussed, there will be a dis- cussion of food conservation includ- ing canning and dr demonstra- tions and a presentation of Herbert Hoover’s national program. THe farmers’ meetings, which begin Monday, August 6 and extend to the evening of Friday, August 10, will be divided as follows: August 6, 7 and 8, poyjtrymen: August 'S and 9, dairy- mefi; August 9 and 10, fruit men and bee men. The program is so arranged that anyone desiring ta attend more than one session may do so, although a separate program has been arranged for each of the four c s of visitors.
