Case Tin company plant, was forced to kiss the American flag by 300 of his fellow- employes after he is alleged to have declared that he would not register and would not fight for the United States. The man was made to crawl on his knees to the flag, which had been spread upon the floor, and after kiss- ing it compelled to salite. The police informed him he would be arrested if he failed to register before the close of the booths. Arrested for Conspiracy. Albuquerque, N. M., June 6.—Josc Carice, governor of the Pueblo of Santo Domingo; Santiago Pena, an in- fluential meraber of the Pueblo, and Julian Baca, an Indian police officia’, were arrested last night charged with conspiring to prevent the registration of more than twenty residents of San- to Domingo. Tears Win Over Slacker. Kansas City, Mo., June 6.—The tears of his sister caused Raymond I. Moore, an anti-draft agitator, to sign a conscriptive army registration card in his cell at the county jail. Columbus, Ohio, June 6.—A federal grand jury will be assembled at once to start an inquiry into charges against the three men arrested last Thursday on charges of treason in connection with anti-conscription ac- tivities. Ammon Hennacy, one of the three held, refused to register when Sheriff Slack was taking registrations in the jall, where he is a prisoner. Cecll ' 'W.
