The house was in no mood to accept. pagsing them on to the 1919 session for further action. The proposed amendments to give ‘women the right of full suffrage came in with six signers in favor, Barker of Branford, Fox of New London, Bull of ‘Marlboro, Todd of New Milford, Bigart of Colchester and Simpson of Plainville. The minority unfavorable report has five signers. The proposed state-wide prohibitory amendment had a divided report, only Barker of Brandford signing the favorble one. His wife, the only person in the room, was ly- ing in a swoon and also was taken to the hospital, where she was unable to answer any questions for some hours.
