When picked up with a companion by Policeman George Ellinger Sunday night in a barn, Puffy was in such a condition that he was transferred to New Britain General hospital for emergency treatment. Zigmund Shumski of Broad street, charged .with assault as a result of a North Main street gang fight, in L which blackjacks and other weapons were freely used, was sentenced to six months in jail and then placed on probation by Judge Mtiiton A.
