The commissioner is still cwalting word from the adjutant gen- eneral regarding the use of the state armory. It is expected, however, that there will be no difficulty in secur- ing the armory and only word from headquarters is necessary to complete the details However, rhould: it be Im- possible to use the armory the gym- nasium of the Y. M. C. A. has been offered for the meet. So there 1s no doubt about having the meet. All ‘troups will assemble at the Y. M. C. A. on Court street promptly at 1:46 p. m. The meet will begin at 2:15 so that all events may be over by 5 p. m. ' The program of events was printed in last Friday night’s Herald to which reference may be made ‘or details. THE DAYLIGHT STORE SOME V Jester’'s Informal Meeting Goes Without a Hitch, several N'T. oft Inasmuch as councilmen and aldermen were present, the spe- cial informal meeting of the council members scheduled for last night by Adderman M. I. Jester, acting mayor, to precede the special formal council meeting of this evening, went off with- out a hitch. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the proposed charter amendments. They were con- sidered, Mayor Pro Tem Jester presided. Judge B. F. Gaffney, chairman of the charter revision committee, and Clerk H. V. Camp, were aiso present as was Corporation Counsel J. E. Cooper. Other present were Aldermen Ander- son and McCabe, and Councilmen C. J. Dehm, G. M. Landers, Richards, Wall, Tomasewskl, Gorbach, Mueller and Steiner.
