The conference, which was held at the Catholic university, divideq itself into sectional meetings, there being no general session. Mix and bake at once on hot griddle. Macaroon Ice Cream—Crush half pound macaroons. Beat three eggs till light with one and a half cupfuls su- gar, then add pint of scalded milk gradually. Put into double boiler and stir over fire until like thick cream; remove, set aside to cool. When cold stir into this custard a pint of cream, powdered macaroons and teaspoon- ful vanilla extract.
