Tentative plans for a local fleld meet land rally to be held, both as a means of rejuvenating the Scouts for the fall campaigns and to put the troops of this city through the program that | is to be carried out at the state meet to be held in Meriden on September 80, have been completed. The local Scouts are determined that some of the laurels from the meet will be brought back and exhibited in New Britain. The local rally will be held on Sat- urday, September 16. The festivities will begin at 2 o’clock in the after- noon by the assembling of all the troops at the triangle on Main street. From here the troops will march to Weigand’s grove where the same pro- gram to be carried out at the state meet will be gone through. The winner of the meet will be awarded a handsome trophy donated by the local council.
