It was reported that gathering of men formerly powerful in some of the Latin-American countries would be held here after Castro’s arrival to consider the situation in their re- spective countries. Washington, July 11.—The pending bill for relief of California oil apera- tors on lands withdrawn by President Taft will go over to the next session of congress and be taken up the second Monday in December by a e arrangement of legislative program agreed upon today by senate leaders. The administration shipping bill and the corrupt practices bill were given the right of way at the present session over all but three pending ap- propriation bills. Democratic sena- tors said today they expected to seec congress in session until September. NOON-DAY COLLISION Bicycle and Automobile Were in Mix- Up on Center Street An automobile driven by Amon Kron of 61 Wilson street and a bicycle on which Peter Rosa was riding col- lided on Center street just before 1 o’clock this afternoon. Kron states that he was backing his machine into the cutlery yard when Rosa rode into his machine breaking one rim of the bicycle. Rosa declared that Kron operated his machine in such a manner that he could not avoid running into him and he wants him to pay for the damage. A. J. HART TRUSTEE. Alonzo J. Hart has been appointed and seattled all claims against the es- brecht, who is absent from the city and cannot be located. Albrecht was administrator of the estate of Cath- erine Albrecht, but departed without settling up the estate. E. H. Prior, who is now in Company I on the Mex- ican border, was made administrator nd sealed all claims against the es- tate. A small balance, which is left, is due Albrecht, but as he is still among the missing Mr. Hart has been appointed trustee. WILSON'S NOTIFICATION. ‘Washington, July 11.—President Wilson will be formally notified of his nomination by the St. Louis con- vention probably at Shadow Lawn, his summer home in New Jersey, during the first week in August. This was tentatively decided today on the un- derstanding that former Justice flughes would be notified July 31 of his nomination by the repulican party. The officers of last year were re-elected, with Chief William H. Brennan, of Stamford, as president. CAPTURED IN ITALY Alleged Fugitive Held for Murder of Uncle in Bridgeport Five Years Ago —To Be Tried Abroad. 11.—Antonio Es- posito, 29, has heen arrested at Bri- ano, Italy, it was learned today, for a murder committed in this city in 1911. He is charged with h’\\)nz slain his uncle, Dominico Di Giacoma on October 29, 1911. FHe disappeared after the murder, but it is now said remained in this country up to a month ago, when he returned to Ttaly. He was arrested at the Instance of the state police. alleged that he cut his uncle’s with a razor during a quarrel, following an uphbraiding by the uncle for his manner of life. Esposito will be tried in Ttaly, it was stated, and depositions by State Po- liceman Varelli, Medical miner Garlick and Lieutenant Governor Wil- son, who was coroner at the time of the crime, will be forwarded to that country through the Italian consular agent. Henry Bonin, instructor in the Pre- vocational Grammar school machine shop, has resigned to accept a position in one of the Bridgeport munitions factories. At the State Trade shop, which is soon to be taken over by the city as a Vocational High school, John O'Don- nell, instructor in mechanical draw- ing and shop mathematics, has re- signed to accept a position in the con- tinuation school maintained by the Waterbury manufacturers in that city. Miss Ellen Clark of Hartford, in- structor in dressmaking and sewing, has also declined an appointment.
