NOVEL WAYS OF SERVING NEW HAVEN DAIRY ICE CREAM FOR WINTER FUNCTIONS These recipes were secured from a fa- mous French chef and are printed for the first time. BAKED ALASKA On a heavy platter, that is rather deep, spread slices of Sponge Cake or Lady Fingers. Chill the cake and platter until ready. Take the yolks of two eggs and beat with one-half cup of powdered sugar until creamy. Then beat the whites of three eggs to a stiff froth. Mix the yolks and whites, stirring only enough to combine them. Take one quart of NEW HAVEN DAIRY ICE CREAM and cover the cake on the platter evenly. Pour the eggs over the ice cream and with a table knife sprinkle on top a little powdered sugar. Place in a very hot oven until the top is browned, which should take about one-balf minute.
