But, you should be refreshed by rest. A tired feeling that does mot disappear even after a night’s sleep is abnormal. It means that you are anemic or debili- tated, that you need a tonic to build you up and fortify your system against such a condition. If you do not you are in- viting disease because thin blood means that the body’s defense against the in- roads of disease is lowered. Thin blood is largely thesufferer’s own fault. It results from neglect, because the blood can be builtup. Dr. Williams’ Pink Pills supply the elements that the | blood needs to make it rich and red and | to enable it to carry more oxygen. Build- | ing up the red portion of the blood is simple but because thin blood does not 1 call attention to itself is often neglected. Have you seriously considered taking a course of treatment with these blood- making pills? If you are in doubt write for information. A meeting of the republican town committee has been called for tomor- row evening to act on the resignation | of Chairman R. R. Healey. Mr. Hea- ley announced his resignation some time ago, but pressure was brought to bear with the hope that he could be persuaded to reconsider. The chairman, however, has a mind of his own and the way he looks at the sit- uation is from a different angle than many of the party leaders. Mr. Healey is now permanent chairman of the board of public safety and feels that he can give the city better and more impartial service if he is not at the same time allied with political leadership. No one has been named to succeed Mr. Healey as chairman of the town committee, but it is expected that something will have to be done at once as the iawn of big political doings is almost here and an able head is required for tuc work that is cut out.
