Norwalk, Dec. 14.—Pasquale Ma- groi, a railroad laborer who was brought to the Norwalk hospital yes- terday suffering from a gunshot wound, is in a comfortable condition and he will probably survive. An in- quiry has been opened to determine the motive for the shooting which is ascribed to Tony Nuzzo, aged 17, em- ployed in the same section gang, which was. working near the Sauga- tuck-Westport station on the railroad. It is claimed that the two became quarrelsome and after stone throwing Nuzzo took up a shotgun which he had secreted nearby and shot at Magroi, the latter’s right chest being torn open. INTER.
