WAS NO AFFINITY OF BONAPARTE’S oresters, meects Annie Pazner, Missing Since May, Re- turns and Tells Police Convincing Story Regarding Her Absence. Denying that she had eloped with “Jack’ Bonaparte, the missing chef, or had ever contemplated being his af- finity, Annie Pazner of 121 Washing- ton street told the police a straight- forward story when she returned from New York Saturday after an absence of some weeks. Annie, who is a win- some young woman of cighteen sum- mers, was formerly a close friend of Bonaparte and was frequently in his company before his marriage to a Miss Napolitano. Bonaparte departed from the city rather suddenly about May 1 and Miss Pazner disappeared about the same time. The result was that their names were coupled together and when An- nie returned Saturday, Police Captain Grace immediately sent for her and asked for an explanation. Annie ve- hemently denied any knowledge of | Bonapare. She claimed to have been working for the Eagle Pencil company and that her parents knew where she was all the time. While she admitted being friendly with Bonaparte before is marriage, she explained her attitude towards him by ving that she had had an opportunity to be is bride be- | for his marriage to Miss Napolitano, but had turned him down hard. Nothing has been heard of Bona- parte since 'his disappearance. His wife is at present living with her par- ents on Commercial stree | the letter written ! country. AUTOMOBILE PARTIES taken out.
