KINKAI]E I]E[}LARES STEP-SON BIT HIM Family Troubles Aired in Court 'When William Bagshaw Is Fmed The continued case of William Bas- shaw and James Kinkade, charged with assaulting each other, was set- tled in court this morning when Bagshaw was fined $5 and costs and Kinkede was discharged by Judgo James T. Meskill. Mr. Kinkade pro- vided séveral géod laughs for the spectators. Says Step-Son Bit Him, Kinkade testified that his step-son, Bagshaw, came to his house at 156 Bast Main ‘street the other night at 9 o'clock for ‘the ostentious pur- pose of getting some of his belongings btut he no sooner entered the door then he: grabbed Kinkade by the neck and shouted “I've got you now.” In the ensuing melee Kinkade de- clared that his step-son bit him on the fingers and arm and showed the ‘wounds ‘'whith had been dressed by 2 doctor.:In showing the bite on his arm’ Kinkade remarked that it lookeit as though it had been made “by 2 dog.” He also showsd a wound on the top of his head which he sald Bagshaw had inflicted with the claw end of a ““If he hit me other .end.- I'd -have Kinkade,” he remarked.
