FIVE MILLION FIELD MUSEUM AT CHICAGO Construction Werk Begun On' Struc- ture Which Shall Be Largest Marble Building in' World. Chicago, July = 15— Construction wark on the new five million Field Museum of Natural History, which is to be built on Chicago’s lake front, just south of Twelth street, began today after 12 years of planning and negotiation. The structure will be completed in less than three Years, according to plans. More than 3,000 men will be employed in the work. When finish- ed it will be the largest marble bulld- ing in the worla and one of the larg- est museums, It will consist of three stories and a basement and will cover an area of 700x350 feet.
