Over two hundred oranges have been sent to the patients the past winter and the general opinion is that all are much pleased by the atten- tion. ‘“We have in our possession 11 wheel chairs, ten air cushions, ten pairs crutches, two invalid chairs commode chairs, canes, cushions and all sorts of articles, which we gladly loan at any time we are called upon to do so, and it is surprising how much use they are made of. Proceeds from a dramatic entertainment were given the Sunshine society, which was a splndid financial help. And in one part o’t our city is a very thoughful neighborhood where a number are banded togetner, forming a whist club, each contributing ten cents apiece, meeting weekly, then pro- ceeds given the Sunshife soclety, so through their instrumenfality they have donated the sum of fifty dollars Which ‘was a’ great help in the work. “Wei sometimes' toil over rugged placesy but our determination to continle our work helps us along and we cerfainly are awarded many times. “Thanksgiving sixteen dinners were sent tor needy ons, and as may flow- €rs and baskets of fruit were scat- tered about.
