Delaney represents the defendant and Kirkham & Cooper are for the plaintiff. SEEKING PRIMITIVE FORMS Yale Men Will Go to South Dakota to Make a Study of Horses. New Haven, Conn., May 29.—To seek more primitive forms of the horse an expedition will set out from Peabody Museum at Yale uni- versity, late next month, for the Bad Lands in the Rosebud Indian reserva- tion in South Dakota, and later it willimove to the Big Bad Lands far- ther west. Previous expeditions working in Texas brought to light many approximately perfect skele- tons of the early horse, and accord- ing to today’s announcement, the forthcoming search will be for the three-toed Hipparion, Protohippus and Mesohippus, the latter of which had been traced in the Big Bad Lands.
