Shelley of Dixieland, Patterson street, was held on Monday, April 19, after awatting six days for his daughter, Mrs. H. G. Bourquin of North Branch, Minn., who arrived on Sunday after- inoon at 2:45 o'clock. The services were conducted by the G. A. R. Post, assisted by Rev. Veach of the Christian church. Mr. Shelley en- listed in the Tenth regiment, Wis- consin Vol. Infantry in 1861 and served three years and four months. He was twice wounded. He was |transferred to Co. C, 'Mississippi Mounted Marines in 1864. He was discharged Jan. 3, 1865. The floral offerings were many and ivery beautiful. There were only setts avenue.
