As the guests arrived they were vited to the punch table, on the side porch, which was presided over by Miss Margaret Southard, who served the delicious fruit nectar with her usual grace. The guests were soon cathered around the “tables and the afternoon was spent "most pleasantly in the interesting eame of “avction.” At the conclu. was found that Miss Mabel Drane had made the highest score, and was given first prize, a kewpie doll, which all declared was “too sweet for any. thing.” Mrs. E. L. Cordery was awarded the consolation, a henrt shaped box of candy. A delicious salad course, followed by strawberries, whipped cream and cake, was served by the hostess, who was assisted by Mrs. G.
