Commons, 3anford, Federation Program For Tonight{And County Corn Club Exhibit Attracts Much Interest ——— Exhibitg in the Boys’ Corn Club contest are coming in, and are on display in the store room in the Kib- ler Annex where the Girls’ Canning Club exhibits are also being shown. Some fine specimens of corn are be- ing placed on display, besides Natal grass, baled hay from same grass, sweet potataes, Porto Rico yams, dasheens, Chinese velvet beans, pumpkins, etc. The exhibits are quite interesting and will be in- spected by meny visitors. Mr. A. A. Lewis, county demon*uator, is in charge. The display of good things made by the Girls' Canning Club and oth- er exhibitors is attracting much at- tention and favorable comment. Among objects of special interest, not noted in a previous report, are samples of guava paste, a delicious novelty originated and manufac- tured by Mrs. J. W. Scarr. Another novel and attractive delicacy shown by Mrs. Scarr is a sample of mint Jelly, which is of exquistie color and doubtless of equal excellence of flavor.
