It was held in Houston, Texas, about twenty years ago; in Dallas, Texas, only a few years ago, and in Little Rock, Ark., year be- fore last. Waco, Texas, is said to want the reunion next year, and, while it would be a long road for many of the veterans to travel, a more desirable city could hardly be selected. Editor Evening T(I(\gram In your paper a few days ago I read that you said that 1 was in Lakeland for some time for ‘‘medical treatment.” After my strenuous Chautauqua work in Florida T closed the sea- sonson at St. Petersburg. During the cold spell there I took a chill after one of my lectures and had an attack of neuritis in my left arm. 1 therefore decided to take a rest and came back to Lake- land because of the salubrious cli- mate, beautiful lakes and its Egyp- tian sanitarium. | T have been here for two weeks taking electric treatment and Turk- ish baths—treatments which in themselves are a luxury. Lakeland is fortunate in having a place of healing without drugs for tired, exhausted nerves, admin- istered by such experienced whole- souled, genial persong as Drs. Han- na. The doctor and his wife are a host in themselves besides all the up-to-date apparatus they use in giving their treatments and I high- ly commend them and their minstry to the public at large who need rest and relief from suffering.
