There had been a steady stréam of callers all day, as they kept open house, but the dinner capped it all. The table was a pret- ty sight, with its lights, cut glass and silver and beautiful linen, with roses, ferns and violets everywhere. The dinner was just such a one as this family is noted for and greatly enjoyed by all. Those who enjoyea this splendid | hospitality were Mr. and Mrs. Paul A, Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Shurman, Master Teddy Shurman, Mr. and Mrs. George Hammer- stroem, Miss Jennie Turk, Mr, J, L. Solomon, Mr. Carl Patrick.
