In the blue parlor were pale blue hy- \ drangeas and pink oleanders to make the more lovely the already beauti- ful room. Mrs. Bamberg was gowned in a most becoming robe of white swiss, embroidered in pale blue, and Mrs. O'ern wore a handsome gown of of yellow charmeuse with drapery of gold dew drop chiffon with tiny hand painted pink roses and gold fringe. “Rook was the game selected for the amusement of the guests for the afternoon and there were three ta- bles. After a number of games had been played the cards were cut, and Mrs. H. J. Brabham, Jr., having been the most lucky, was presented with an exquisite Point de Venise lace collar. For Mrs. O'Hern, the honor guest. there was a handsome pair of embroidered-guest towels as a me- mento of a happy occasion where a number of matrons had gathered to meet again a former popular Bam- berg girl.
