Washington, D. €., June 26.— Preparations are being made to se- cure a very general participation hy the health authorities of the towns and cities of Florida in the fifteenth International Congress on Hygiene and Demagraphy, which meets in Washington in September. The State has already accepted the invitation extended by President Taft and an effort is now being made to have official delegates appointed by the mayors of the municipalities of Florida. Letters from the officers of the congress in Washington have just been sent to each mayor and each health officer in the following cities of the State; nandina, Jacksonville, Miami, Key West, Lakeland, Ocala, Orlando, Tal- lahassec, Punta Gorda, St. Augustone, 8.
