The veterans will have the shortest possible march and all the arrangements provide for a pa- rade that will prove a magnificent and attractive function. Horses will be used during the parade only by the chief marshall and staff, the cav- giry and the officers and men of the National Guard, who are required by the regulations to be mounted. Gen. Walker is entirely pleased with the new arrangements for the parade, and assures the veterans that the line of march was made so as to prevent them from becoming fa- tigued during the parade. He left Macon this morning at 11:30 o'clock. The dctailed line of march as agreed upon at the conference is as follows: Parade will form at the Central City park.
