Mr. Brown and family have moved to Knights Station where he position. Quite a number of the Griffinites visited Lakeland Wednesday after- noon to see the Farmers' Institute train. Mr. B. A. Guthrie has recently purchased the property of Mr. T. S. McCorkle. The farmers are quite busy now, working their berry crops, and mak- ing preparations for syrup making. The first shipment of berries will be ater than usual in this community, 15 most of the crops were not set until late in the fall. Mr. T. S. McCorkle and family have moved back to Trilby recently. The public school will close in about three weeks after a very suc- cessful term. Mr. Isham Walker, Sr., is - sick at his home. It is rumored -that Mr. W. I. Sin- gletary and family are to move over to their former home in the near future, Mr. D. F.
